The Perucchetti specialist marble dust finishes are applied by a steel trowel in several (four to six) fine layers. The method of application and ingredients used vary slightly depending on the required finish. 

The recipe is a personal formula which is basically a combination of cement, lime, marble dust, pigments, oils, soap and waxes. An endless range of textures and colours can be achieved and the final result is always an incredibly hard-wearing, maintenance-free surface, which due to the techniques and preciousness of the materials has a depth and softness which is unique.
The finishes can be applied to flat or curved surfaces of almost any material used in the construction industry, even wood, metal and paint. The receiving surface should be prepared in no different way to that of a normal builders finish prior to decoration.

In order to achieve the best results it is important that the prepared surface should be of good, sound, quality with true lines, as the total thickness of the Perucchetti finishes is no greater than 2/3 mm in depth. For more 'finishes' click here.
